Save the Children is currently accepting applications for a Financial Director for an anticipated USAID-funded Basic Education Program in Guatemala. The program will improve foundational reading, writing, math, and social and emotional skills acquisition for children and youth, increase retention and transition rates from primary to lower secondary in rural Guatemala.
The Finance and Administrative Director oversees all financial management, internal controls and financial compliance aspects of the program, in accordance with USAID guidance and regulations. The Director will provide financial and operational management to ensure the best use of resources by preparing sound budgets, monitoring project expenses, and providing accurate and timely financial reports for donors. The position reports directly to the Chief of Party (COP), and will be a member of the Senior Management Team.
This position is contingent upon donor approval and funding.
